Time has passed like a vapor, and it only seems like yesterday that I first found out about the long-awaited MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic.

I (like most gamers who enjoy sci-fi) have been waiting for the last few years, getting little tid-bits of information here and there. So far, the released information has been stellar, which sucks in so many ways because it makes the anticipation that much greater!

*shakes fist at BioWare for their string of carrots*

But, the nice thing about it is the emergence of SO much artwork, in the form of visual art and literary pieces. I can't believe how many professional and would-be artists have come out of the woodwork to share their interpretations of the Star Wars universe, and much of it has been very good.  One person comes to mind, who's writing I've followed for awhile: Nemonus --> [link]

One thing is for sure, she is diligent in her research and seems to love a ton of sci-fi topics, namely Mass Effect and Star Wars. She definitely puts me to shame in keeping up on her artwork, lol. But, I always love to see artists (of any form) keep at their hobbies/professions as they can only get better over time. Nemonus is no exception.

In any case, I have certainly anticipated SWTOR just as much (if not more) than the next person, but I've kept myself entertained and up on the SW universe with enough resources, games, and my own original art to pass the time.

But it would still be nice to see a release date on the horizon!
